The temporary administration at JSC SENS BANK has been terminated

Today, July 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m., the temporary administration of JSC SENS BANK (hereinafter – the Bank) was suspended. The relevant decision was taken by the executive directorate of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund. Thus, the temporary administration at the Bank lasted less than three days. Today, the state is the full owner of the Bank.

“The fund successfully completed all procedures within the framework of the temporary administration in the bank and transferred its shares to the state. Candidates for members of the Bank’s Management Board and Supervisory Board, submitted by the Ministry of Finance and approved by the National Bank, were appointed, as well as a contract for the purchase and sale of the bank’s shares was prepared and concluded. And the most important thing is that uninterrupted operation of the bank and operation of all services for customers was ensured. During the first day of the temporary administration, clients opened deposits in the amount of UAH 330 million, which is three times more than during the previous day. This is proof of the bank’s clients’ trust in the deposit guarantee system and the state. The temporary administration has been terminated, the bank continues its work on the market with a new owner,” Svitlana Rekrut, director-manager of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund, said.

The obtained result is the result of coordinated actions of the Government, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund, the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the National Depository, depository institutions and the Bank’s staff.

“The transfer of the bank to the ownership of the state is an important step to ensure the stability of its activity and protect the interests of depositors, creditors and clients of the bank. Our team sets itself the goal of maintaining the trust of customers, because the trust of customers is the greatest value. And our main task is the further sustainable development of the bank,” said the newly appointed chairman of the board of JSC “SENS BANK” Dmytro Kuzmin.
